Turner West
Welcome to Turner Academy West!
Turner West serves students from 7th to 12th grade and offer high school diploma courses. While attending Turner West students work on increasing their academic success through reading intervention and small group instruction, with the goal of applying their behavioral plans in mind.

Immersive Field Trips
Turner West is a tight-knit community of staff, students and families! Students have opportunities to participate in curriculum-aligned immersive field trips, like the salmon hatchery!
Trained Behavioral Specialists
Our staff consists of teachers, staff, and trained mental health professionals that pride themselves on meeting students where they are at. Each staff member will work in direct accordance with the individual student's IEP, moving towards student goals together.
Project-Based Learning
Our program is student-centered and fosters collaboration. Every Friday, students actively engage in hands-on projects that require multi-step instructions, communication, and time management. Projects have included canvas paintings and culinary arts.
